A Dan-Air AS57 Ambassador departs from the central pier at Gatwick Airport just as the fog starts to close in. This particular aircraft was operated by Dan-Air from 1963 to 1971. G-ALZO is the only surviving example of the type and resides at IWM Duxford after a lengthy restoration. Oil on canvas. 56cm x 41cm.
