The Buccaneer was developed as a low-level maritime strike aircraft for use from Royal Navy aircraft carriers. Also adopted by the RAF after the cancelled TSR.2 and F-111K programmes, the Buccaneer was one of the most capable low-level aircraft ever built, capable of flying to and from the target at altitudes as low as 20 feet. It later proved itself indispensable in the first Gulf War of 1990-91. Oil on canvas.
