A British Airways Concorde flies over Filton airfield, the birthplace of the supersonic airliner. This aircraft made the last ever Concorde landing at Filton where she became a permanent exhibit and a testament to an era of passenger flight that is now past. This painting won the 'Sir George Edwards Memorial Award' and the 'Harbottle & Lewis' prize at the 2012 Aviation Paintings of the Year exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London. Oil on canvas.
